Take Off
Unlike skydiving, there is no free-fall or dramatic opening of the canopy. In paragliding, we take off like a plane with a smooth, controlled inflation and a short, light run until the ground leaves our feet behind
The Flight
Paragliders are fully steerable aircraft, allowing us to turn at will and control where we fly, even staying up for extended periods of time using nothing but the power of the wind and the sun. Flight times vary depending on conditions, but are typically around 5-20 minutes
Landing
The flight ends with a smooth glide right into the landing zone in a field next to Chimney Gulch trailhead along highway 93
What to Expect
Arrival & Paperwork
Your adventure begins at our designated landing zone in Golden. We’ll meet you there, complete a quick bit of paperwork, and answer any questions you might have before heading up the mountain.
The Journey to Launch
Enjoy a scenic drive with our team up Lookout Mountain, followed by a short 5-10 minute hike to our launch site. Along the way, take in views of the Rockies and the historic city of Golden—it’s all part of the experience!
Pre-Flight Briefing
Your pilot will walk you through everything you need to know for a smooth takeoff and landing. No experience is necessary—just bring your sense of adventure, and we’ll handle the rest.
Take Flight
Feel the ground fall away as you lift effortlessly into the sky. Flights typically last between 5 to 20 minutes depending on weather conditions. From above, you’ll have breathtaking views of the Rocky Mountains, the city of Denver in the distance, and the unique Table Mountains of Golden.
Landing & Optional GoPro Video
We’ll land gently back at our meeting spot. If you added the GoPro package, we’ll make sure you receive incredible video footage to relive the experience and share it with friends and family.

All flights are conducted under FAA Exemption No. 4721 and are considered instructional flights with certified USHPA tandem instructors.
